American Heart Association’s Torch Journey highlights Catholic Health’s commitment to heart health ahead of the September Heart Walk
WHAT: The American Heart Association’s Heart Walk Torch will arrive at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, where associates, leaders, and community partners will gather to celebrate the final Catholic Health stop on the official Heart Walk Torch Journey across Western New York. As a proud sponsor of the American Heart Association Walk, Catholic Health is one of only five Western New York organizations selected to host the torch as it travels throughout the region ahead of the Heart Walk on Saturday, September 12. The Mercy Hospital of Buffalo event marks the final Catholic Health stop on the Torch Journey. Earlier this week, the torch visited Lockport Memorial Hospital, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, the Catholic Health Administrative & Regional Training Center, Sisters of Charity Hospital and St. Joseph Campus, and OLV Senior Neighborhood before arriving at Mercy Hospital.
