Volunteer Services at Catholic Health

If you are looking for a meaningful volunteer service opportunity in a mission-driven healthcare environment that will leave you with a feeling of self-gratification and accomplishment, then look no further than the ministries here at Catholic Health!

Working side by side with the professional team of volunteers who lovingly give of their time and talents in a variety of ways across Erie and Niagara Counties every year. There is ALWAYS room for more!

Who Can Volunteer?

Our volunteers range in age, experience, and background. For more information on the program that describes you, please click on one of the categories below:

Aged 18 (post high school) and older. For more information cick here.

Aged 16 -18. For more information click here.

We accept teen volunteers for our summer program only, with the exception of seniors who require hours to graduate, or special school programs requiring service hours during the school year.

If you are a piano player, or have other musical talent to share, and would like to learn more about how you can enhance the experience for everyone at Catholic Health, please contact Volunteer Services at (716) 862-1106.

Credit bearing patient care internships are managed by our Clinical Education Department. You must show proof of required service from an affiliated education partner to be eligible. Please click here for more information on this program.

Students in high school or college programs that require community service hours. All non-clinical opportunities must be pre-approved.

Volunteer Application Form

  • Canine and handler must be certified by a participating therapy dog program.
  • Schedule is flexible up to two hours of service each time.
  • Therapy Dog teams are not restricted to patient areas only. In fact our administrative offices love our therapy dogs!
