The M. Steven Piver, MD, Center for Women’s Health & Wellness, located on the Sisters of Charity Hospital Campus at 2121 Main Street in Buffalo, is pleased to welcome Mary Peace, DO, to its practice.
Specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Peace treats a wide array of women’s health conditions including pelvic pain, fibroids, infertility, and menopause. In addition to obstetrics, where she offers delivery services at Sisters Hospital, she performs annual GYN exams, breast cancer screenings, and other women’s health services at the Piver Center.
“One of the things that drew me to obstetrics and gynecology is that it allows me to participate in some of life’s biggest moments with my patients and form long-term relationships with them,” said Dr. Peace. “Fostering a collaborative relationship with each of my patients is at the heart of my practice.”
Dr. Peace received her Osteopathic degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas, and completed her OB/GYN residency at Sisters Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Osteopathic Association, and Catholic Medical Association.
Among the OB/GYN services she provides, Dr. Peace has a particular interest in fertility awareness. “I want to help women understand and cooperate with their bodies and their fertility,” she said. “I recognize the challenges of high risk pregnancies and feel confident facing them with my patients.”
Dr. Peace is accepting new patients. Appointments can be made by calling the Piver Center at (716) 862-1965.
