Catholic Health is pleased to announce that Cardiology Group of Western New York, PC, has joined its physician practice network, Trinity Medical WNY, PC. The transition will be a seamless one for Cardiology Group patients, who will continue to see their same providers in the group’s existing locations, which will be renamed Trinity Medical Cardiology.

With offices in Williamsville, Orchard Park, and Lockport, Cardiology Group of WNY is one of the largest cardiology practices in Western New York. The group, which has been providing high quality cardiology care for more than 30 years, offers a variety of services, including Interventional Cardiology and specialty centers for Cardiovascular Imaging and Vascular and Vein Medicine.

Cardiology Group of WNY is the second cardiology practice to join Catholic Health in the past two months. The physicians and staff of Buffalo Heart Group joined Trinity Medical WNY in January. “Along with our flagship Heart Center at Mercy Hospital, these practices will enable us to offer our patients a complete continuum of cardiology care in convenient locations throughout the region,” said Joe McDonald, president & CEO of Catholic Health. “We share close ties with the Cardiology Group of Western New York and look forward to expanding our cardiology presence in the communities they serve.”

Cardiology Group of WNY physicians; mid-level providers; and clinical and support staff have also joined Catholic Health, ensuring continuity of care for patients and their families. “We are pleased to join Catholic Health as part of Trinity Medical Cardiology,” said Nadeem U. Haq, MD, president of Cardiology Group of Western New York. “All of our physicians practice in Catholic Health hospitals, so it will be a smooth transition for our medical team as well as our patients, who will continue to receive the highest quality care and service through this new partnership.”
