This Prenatal Yoga 4-week series is designed to prepare themind and body for labor and delivery. Taught by an experienced yogapractitioner, birth doula and prenatal educator, this class will utilizeasanas, meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques while providingeffective tools for coping with the intensity of labor.
This is an ACTIVITY based class and appropriate for allthree trimesters. Please dress comfortably and be ready (maybe with ayoga mat, pillow and water bottle) to practice the yoga poses. This iscurrently being offered as an in-person class with a virtual option and lasts 1hour.
This class has a nominal fee usually covered by insurance, if your insurance will not cover, arrangements can be made with the instructor – scholarships available for Catholic Health Patients.

Moms in Motion (Active Comfort techniques in Labor) in Person

Taught by an experienced doula or nurse educator, this class uses upright positions and techniques that are used worldwide to reduce the discomfort of labor and the length of labor. Modern techniques from such organizations as Spinning Babies ® and Dancing For Birth™ are also discussed. This is an ACTIVITY based class. Please dress comfortably, bring your support person, and be ready to practice the techniques. We will meet in the Marillac room on the first floor.
