About

Partners In Rehab – West Seneca is a Catholic Health Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation location. It is a multi-disciplinary rehab facility, offering our patients several different types of therapy services. By building up a comprehensive team of providers with different rehab specialties, we’re able to provide the best possible care for patients recovering from medical procedures, serious injuries, and chronic conditions.

Services

Amputee Care– This specialized rehab is a comprehensive program for patients living with an amputated limb. Our skilled physical therapists are readily available to offer their support – starting from the moment an amputation is deemed necessary, and looking ahead to what life has in store beyond medical procedures.

Physical Therapy – The physical therapy and rehabilitation services offered by Catholic Health use a team-based approach and the latest technology to provide innovative treatment options to restore your health. PT techniques can help your body rebuild strength, relieve pain, and relearn specific skills.

CranioSacral Therapy– CranioSacral therapy evaluates and enhances the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord. Using a gentle, hands-on maneuver, our skilled therapists can correct abnormalities in these areas.

Neuro-rehabilitation– Stroke and neuro-rehabilitation is a comprehensive rehab program that helps patients recovering from brain, spinal cord, or nervous system injuries, procedures, and conditions. Our treatment plans are able to be customized to each individual patient’s needs and abilities.

Physical Therapy for Pelvic Pain and Incontinence– Pelvic rehabilitation is a specialty type of physical therapy that is used to treat conditions of the pelvic region, which can present through problems with the bowels, bladder, or reproductive organs.

Vestibular & Balance Therapy– Abnormalities within the vestibular system, or inner ear, can cause symptoms such as vertigo, general dizziness, balance problems, and nausea. Vestibular therapy often involves manual repositioning techniques that offer relief to patients suffering from these symptoms.

Wound Care– A chronic wound or ulcer that does not heal within four weeks may require advanced care. The specialists at Catholic Health’s advanced wound healing centers are all board certified in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Our practice focuses on using patient evaluations to determine the treatment that will be most effective for you and your condition.

Occupational Therapy– Skilled occupational therapy treatments focus on maximizing function so patients can return to daily activities including self-care, work, and recreation.

Speech Therapy– We offer individualized speech therapy sessions and treatment plans for conditions that affect your speech, voice, ability to swallow, and other related disorders.

Physical Therapy for Pregnancy & Postpartum Discomfort– This location offers the services of physical therapists who are trained to help expectant or new mothers overcome issues that arise during and immediately following pregnancy.

Peripheral Artery Disease – Supervised Exercise– Though PAD is commonly characterized by leg aches and pains, studies show that exercise can help manage disease symptoms and progression. We offer supervised exercise programs for PAD patients, so health can be monitored throughout a workout.

ACL Injury Prevention– For people who lead active lifestyles, an ACL injury is enough to sideline you from doing what you love. Our therapists can work with you to provide tools and techniques that strengthen and protect the muscles in your knee – keeping you in the game.

Concussion Testing & Assessment– Concussion testing and assessments can help providers make a diagnosis and guide return-to-activity decisions, which is quite important for patients who play a sport or lead active lifestyles. Concussion symptoms are usually rather prominent, resulting from trauma or an extreme force acting upon the head.

Physical Therapy for Back Pain– Chronic or recurrent back pain can be downright disruptive to day-to-day activities and may ultimately affect quality of life. Based upon an initial evaluation, physical therapy can target problem areas and significantly reduce tension for those suffering from back pain.

Fall Risk Assessment and Fall Prevention– Fall risk assessment and prevention measures are available as a service for patients considered at-risk for accidental slips, trips, and falls. Physical therapists can evaluate factors that may affect balance and neurological function, and then recommend treatment to manage your stability.

Massage Therapy– Our licensed massage therapists are trained in a variety of techniques, so you receive treatment that is customized to your health and wellness needs.
