About

At the Sisters Health Center, we are devoted to caring for you and your family’s healthcare needs in a highly compassionate, personalized way.

Our board certified physician and her team get to know you – your family history, risk factors, overall wellness, and any other health-related conditions. We provide annual physicals, women’s services, regular health screenings and vaccinations, and care for any non-urgent medical needs. We will help you manage chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease. If you are experiencing symptoms that require a specialist, we’ll provide a referral.

When discussing your care plan, treatments, and procedures, we use everyday language – not “medical-speak” – as much as possible. We also offer translation services if needed. It’s all about working together to make decisions about what’s best for you and your health!

The Sisters Health Center is conveniently located at the Health Professions Hub at D’Youville University. This location offers comprehensive care for the West Buffalo community, including a pharmacy, lab, occupational therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic care, diabetes and nutritional support, and a wellness center.

We look forward to being your trusted healthcare partner.

After-Hours Calls

If you become ill or are injured after office hours or during a weekend or a holiday, your call to the office will go through our answering service. Please limit calls to urgent problems that cannot wait until morning.

Services

Primary Care – Our primary care physicians are here to provide a constant support system for our patients to lean on. Few things are more important than your health, which we treat by conducting annual physicals, providing care for your non-emergent medical needs, and assessing symptoms for specialist referrals.

Blood Draw – Catholic Health laboratory services test and process blood locally, allowing for fast, same-day results. Our locations offer an extensive catalog of blood tests, helpful in diagnosing disease, measuring risk factors, and evaluating a patient’s overall health. On the day of your visit, be prepared with a prescription, identification, and insurance information. Make sure to follow any specific instruction from your doctor as well.

Food Farmacy – A collaboration between Catholic Health, D’Youville University and FeedMore WNY, Food Farmacy is a unique and innovative service enabling primary care providers to link patients at risk for food insecurity to nutritional food; ongoing education regarding diet, exercise, and symptom management; and needed support to change behaviors and improve health outcomes.

In line with its mission of providing accessible food to the WNY community, a dietician from FeedMore WNY will work with patients to help educate them on proper nutrition and to assess their ongoing health relative to desired outcomes. Area residents and students who are in-need will be able to get the same full service offerings from the Food Farmacy, but must opt-in to participate in programming, which includes working with a FeedMore WNY dietician.

The Food Farmacy is located on the second floor of the D’Youville Health Hub and is by appointment only. For more information, please contact Katie Morris at (716) 829-7736 or kmorris@feedmorewny.org.
