Research Project: Impact of Pharmacy Education on Quetiapine Prescribing Practices.
Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with family & friends, journaling, reading, and trying new restaurants to share on my food blog City of Good Flavors on Instagram.
Why I Chose Catholic Health Pharmacy Residency Program: The PGY1 residency program at CHS offers a variety of clinical opportunities ranging from NICU to behavioral health in addition to your traditional core rotations including ED, ICU, and internal medicine. Additionally, CHS residents have the opportunity to obtain ambulatory care experience working in the clinic with patients. Most importantly, I wanted to serve the Buffalo community that I know and love.
Research Project: Evaluating the Impact of Appropriate Antibiotic Use at Transitions of Care on Readmission Rates for Discharged Inpatients with Urinary Tract Infections.
Interests/Hobbies: Spending time with family/friends, being outdoors, and playing soccer.
Why I Chose Catholic Health Pharmacy Residency Program: I chose CHS because of my positive experience as a pharmacy intern. The supportive and friendly environment, diverse core and elective rotation opportunities, and commitment to patient-centered care made a strong impression on me. CHS truly feels like a place where I can grow and develop into a professional clinical pharmacist.
