Sisters of Charity Hospital is Buffalo’s first hospital, with a tradition of superior care dating back to 1848. Founded by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Sisters Hospital is dedicated to serving the sick and the poor in an atmosphere of care and compassion. Sisters has been designated as a Certified Cancer Center and a Bariatric Center of Excellence. The hospital cares for thousands of patients each year in its inpatient and outpatient facilities.
