Catholic Health's home and community-based care program includes one source for all of your infusion pharmacy needs. For patients undergoing intravenous therapy, our services are provided in the comfort of your home, or the nursing facility where you reside.
The unique structure of our program gives us the ability to truly put the patient first, by bringing IV care to you. Additionally, our team members work seamlessly with specializing physicians, to coordinate your care plan and prescription orders. Infusion therapy staff members are not only caregivers, but your best patient advocates as well.
Infusion Pharmacy Services
Our service catalog is utilized by patients prescribed IV medication for a number of reasons – including as an antibiotic, pain management, hydration, and nutrition. Infusion medication and supplies may also include:
- PICC insertion needs
- Steroid therapy
- Enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Line maintenance needs
- Diuretic therapy
- CHF management
- Immunoglobulin therapy
- Solumedral therapy for MS patients
- Desferal therapy for treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia
- Low-dose dopamine and dobutamine
PICC lines are always inserted and monitored by certified nurses. All of our staff members recognize their role in comforting each and every infusion pharmacy patient. We remain in constant contact with the supervising physician on each case to maintain a comprehensive approach to your medical care over time.
