Care Philosophy
As a general cardiologist, my care philosophy is centered on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to the diverse community that I serve. I always involve my patients in their own care and make sure that they have the information and support they need to make informed decisions about their health.
I understand that each patient is unique, and I strive to understand their individual needs, preferences, and goals in order to provide personalized care that meets their specific needs. I work closely with my patients to develop a plan of care that takes into account their individual circumstances and priorities.
I also believe in a collaborative approach to care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for my patients. I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based guidelines to ensure that I am providing the most current and effective care. In addition, prevention is a key aspect of my practice and I work with my patients to identify and address risk factors that may increase their risk of cardiovascular disease.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others and believe that educating my patients and other healthcare professionals is an integral part of my role as a cardiologist. I continue to be an active participant as volunteer faculty at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences by helping guide medical students as they begin their careers in medicine.
Finally, I understand that caring for cardiovascular conditions is a long-term process and believe in providing ongoing support and education to my patients to help them manage their conditions and improve their overall health.
