Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Tai Ho Shin specializes in treating conditions including diabetes; thyroid disease; bone disease; lipid disorder; metabolic syndrome; obesity; pituitary/adrenal disorder; male/female hormonal disorder and more.

Dr. Shin received his medical degree at Brown University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He completed his Fellowship in Endocrinology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City.

Care Philosophy

Hormones have wide-ranging effects on the body, and Dr. Shin knows that the correct evaluation and management of an endocrine condition can dramatically improve his patients’ lives. He believes the most current evidencebased practice, reliable medical judgment, technology and an optimistic attitude are required to ensure thorough care. His goal as a provider is to work with patients over the long term to improve their condition, and he believes that lifestyle, including food choices and exercise habits, have a profound impact on our well-being.
