Care Philosophy

When treating a gynecology issue, the overall health of my patients is of utmost importance to me. Having a PhD in pathology and deep knowledge of insect venom allergies has provided me with a unique perspective on gynecologic conditions and diseases. This specialized expertise enables me to approach patient care with insights not commonly found in traditional clinical practice and offer individualized, comprehensive treatments.

Background

Dr. Susan Littler is an OB/GYN with expertise in pathology and insect venom allergies. She earned her PhD in pathology from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, NY and completed a fellowship in insect venom allergy and desensitization at Buffalo General Hospital. She returned to the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and graduated magna cum laude with her Doctorate of Medicine. After a general surgery internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL, she completed her OB/GYN residency at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Littler has held leadership roles at multiple healthcare institutions and was honored with the Women in Medicine Top Doctor 2025 award by Findatopdoc.com.

Board certified in obstetrics & gynecology, Dr. Littler provides comprehensive care for teens experiencing puberty and women entering menopause, treatments for irregular periods, sexually transmitted diseases, yeast infections, heavy periods, PMS, pregnancy care, and bladder issues. She is skilled in various procedures, such as pelvic exams, PAP smears, colposcopy, LEEP procedure, dilation and curettage, vulvar biopsies, hysteroscopy, and labiaplasty.
