The decision on when, or if, to proceed with a hip or knee replacement can be confusing and sometimes anxiety provoking. My goal as a surgeon is to help educate my patients on their diagnosis, and guide them through treatment options for their condition.
Each patient has a unique set of functional and pain relief expectations that I try to help them meet with either non-surgical or surgical management. Ultimately, it is a shared decision making process for how patients want to manage their arthritis and related symptoms. It’s my goal to give them a concise and realistic list of treatment options, which will help them meet their daily activity goals.

Originally from Auburn, NY, Dr. Nodzo spent most of his early adult life in Western New York, attending school and training in orthopedic care. He fell in love with the area and decided it was a great place to raise a family.
Dr. Nodzo graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Niagara University. He went on to the University of Buffalo School of Medicine, where he received his doctorate and completed his residency. Following his experience at the University at Buffalo, he was awarded and completed a fellowship program at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Weill Cornell University.
Dr. Nodzo is interested in the continued study of orthopedics, noting that he enjoys identifying areas of improvement in the field so that he can continually provide the latest and best treatment options for his patients.

He played guitar in a band in college, and was the student body entertainment program director for the University.
