Dr. Priyanka Patnaik graduated with her MBBS from Berhampur University in Berhampur, India in 1999. After graduation, she completed an internship in family and rural medicine at Sri Rama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital and Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital in Odisha, India. Between 2001 and 2005, Dr. Patnaik gained extensive clinical experience as a junior resident at various hospitals, served as lead physician at a reproductive health clinic, worked as a research associate for the Indian government, and volunteered as a doctor with the United Nations. In 2006, she relocated to the United States to pursue a research fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, followed by a residency in family medicine.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Patnaik brings over 20 years of diverse clinical experience, delivering comprehensive care across obstetrics, pediatrics, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Her particular passion lies in geriatric care, where she provides annual physical exams, manages chronic conditions, and treats acute illnesses. Dr. Patnaik specializes in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, GERD, deep vein thrombosis, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and headaches.
