I chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology for the long-term relationships and continuity of care that are becoming less common in medicine. I enjoy working closely with patients throughout pregnancy to promote healthy childbirth and the growth of families. Obstetrics and gynecology are two of the few specialties that allow physicians to see patients for their annual health visits and treat them both medically and surgically. I always take the time to get to know my patients to understand how problems affect their lives. Then, we will work together to find the best treatment option.
