Dr. Michael Peyser is a board-certified surgeon with a medical background in surgery and oncology. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Peyser completed a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and taught as a clinical surgical instructor at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.
He spent nearly a decade working as a clinical professor of Surgical Oncology/General Surgery at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Hampton Roads Surgical Specialists in Virginia.
Dr. Peyser has been the recipient of many achievement awards and has written and published abstracts and articles relative to health and cancer.
Dr. Peyser is committed to providing the most progressive breast cancer treatment and care for his patients. He continually researches and implements new practices, including oncoplastic breast surgery, which removes the lesion in the breast while providing the best possible cosmetic results.
