Dr. Merna George graduated with her Doctorate of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Following her graduation, she completed her family medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. While pursuing her medical degree and residency, Dr. George participated in numerous committees and clubs to raise funds and provide access to medical care for rural communities in Grenada and Alabama. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. George offers treatments for various conditions, such as diabetes, depression, anxiety, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, thyroid issues, asthma, and COPD. A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Dr. George was drawn to medicine to help improve the overall well-being of others and enjoys the relationships she creates with her patients.
