Background

Dr. Clabeaux was born and raised in Buffalo. He attended Saint Francis High School and Buffalo State College. He then attended medical school at LECOM in Erie, PA and received the WNY Outstanding Osteopathic Medical Student Award. He did his traditional rotating internship at Sisters of Charity Hospital, then continued on to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for his training in general surgery, in which he is board certified. He then had the unique experience of being the first graduating fellow from the Sisters of Charity Hospital Vascular Surgery Fellowship, under the directorship of Dr. Paul Anain and Dr. Roger Walcott.

Dr. Clabeaux has a special interest in complex open and minimally invasive arterial reconstructions, as well as dialysis access and venous work. He and his wife Bernadette, a professor at Medaille College, feel privileged to be back home in their professional capacities.
