Care Philosophy

My mission is to combine the latest technology and clinical expertise to provide compassionate care for women of all ages. I offer routine and high risk prenatal care as well as routine gynecologic services for women from adolescence through menopause.

Background

Dr. Emmekunla Nylander graduated from Boston University and received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Nylander is also a clinical instructor at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She is the founder of the organization Medical Outreach and Community Assistance of Western New York, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has provided services in Ghana and the Dominican Republic since 2007. They have performed over 100 surgeries for disadvantaged men, women, and children. They have also raised funds to provide medical insurance to over 250 individuals and are supporting over 50 students in their education.
