Background

Dr. Ayesha Ahmed is a family medicine physician with extensive experience providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands and completed her residency in Grand Rapids, MI, at Michigan State University through Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners.

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Ahmed specializes in the management of high-risk and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, COPD, asthma, GERD, anxiety, depression, eczema, and dermatitis. She places a strong emphasis on preventive care and partners with patients to support long-term wellness through medication management, lifestyle modification, and routine screenings. Her clinical expertise also includes joint injections, skin biopsies, immunizations, vaccination updates, and laceration repair. Fluent in Hindi and Urdu, Dr. Ahmed is committed to delivering culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population. Prior to relocating to Buffalo, she lived and practiced medicine in Florida, New Mexico, Michigan, and Ontario, Canada. Dr. Ahmed is proud to serve as a physician, but considers her greatest achievement being a mother to her daughters.
