Dr. Andrew Zaky is a general neurologist who provides comprehensive care for adults with a wide range of neurological conditions. His clinical interests include headache and migraine disorders, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy, dementia, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, myasthenia gravis, stroke prevention, and stroke recovery. Dr. Zaky earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his adult neurology residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, followed by an epilepsy fellowship at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York.
Through his fellowship training, Dr. Zaky developed a special focus on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of epilepsy and seizure disorders. He has experience caring for patients with new-onset seizures, complex epilepsy syndromes, and difficult-to-control seizures. He is also experienced in managing patients treated with vagus nerve stimulation therapy and creating individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s specific needs. In addition, Dr. Zaky provides evaluation and treatment for headache disorders and offers Botox® injections for the prevention and management of chronic migraines. Dr. Zaky is fluent in Arabic, allowing him to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
