Over the last century-and-a-half, Catholic health care in the Diocese of Buffalo has evolved from a ministry sponsored by a number of religious congregations and the Diocese of Buffalo into a centralized, co-sponsored Catholic health system. The co-sponsors establish a formal link between Catholic Health and the Roman Catholic Church and are responsible to ensure that Catholic Health remains true to our mission and to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
