Alumni
A group of past Clinical Pastoral Education students have begun forming an alumni component of our program. In previous years, we have done the following:
- Gathered to hear Barbara Shanahan, Director of the Catholic Biblical Studies in Buffalo, speak on “The Role of the Chaplain as Prophet.” This was well received and the group decided that they wished to follow this with an annual meeting.
- Met at the Chautauqua Institute to hear Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crosson. Our alumni group ended the day with a picnic supper.
- Met at the Chautauqua Institute to hear Sister Joan Chittister speak on “Imagine a World at Peace Through Compassion.”
Anyone who is interested in joining us for future events, please send an e-mail to Nancy Koteras at nkoteras@chsbuffalo.org. She will be glad to add your name to our mailing list.
