Hourly parking is available for a nominal fee in the hospital’s parking ramp located at the corner of Abbott Road and Lorraine Avenue. Valet parking is always available at the hospital’s front entrance.

Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily for general hospital patients, and 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. for critical care, CVICU, and ICU patients. Up to two visitors, age 12 and older, are recommended. Exceptions may be made for the Maternal Child Unit.
Mercy Hospital is pleased to offer our patients access to a full library of health education videos through our Mercy TV Patient Education Channel (channel 132) and our Newborn Channel (channel 133). Speak to your nurse or view the Mercy Hospital Patient Guide for access information.
Our room service dining program allows patients to choose their meals from a restaurant-style menu. Meals will be delivered within 45 minutes of ordering.

The Mercy Chapel is on the 3rd floor and is open to all from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Communion is distributed to Catholic patients daily, as allowed.

Through a partnership with SPCA's Paws for Love program, Mercy Hospital offers pet therapy to patients. Specially trained dogs and their handlers visit hospital units regularly, providing patients with much appreciated cuddle time.

Free wireless internet access is available throughout the hospital. To begin using this service, open your wireless connection utility, scan available networks and connect to "Catholic Health Visitor."
The hospital is not responsible for cash, valuables and personal items you bring into your room. Keep dentures, eyeglasses or contact lenses in protective cases labelled with your name. Ask a nurse to place valuables in the hospital safe.
If you are ordering flowers for a patient, it is not necessary to include the room number. The florist will stop at the front desk to confirm the recipient's name and room number before the delivery is made.
Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) for more than 300 languages is available through iPads and desktop computers on portable carts. Interpreters translate through a live, web-based video conference. American sign language interpreters are also available through VRI or in-person.
As of July 4, 2009, smoking is not permitted anywhere on hospital property and off-site locations. This new smoke-free policy includes all buildings, parking areas, cars parked on hospital property, grounds and adjacent sidewalks.
