Grace’s Annual Lemonade Stand Fundraiser

Hamburg teen, Grace Koncikowski, has been raising money for the Mercy Hospital NICU since she was six years old. Grace spent six weeks in the NICU when she was born two months premature. She wanted to pay it forward to help other babies born at Mercy through her annual lemonade stand. Over the last 9 years, Grace has already raised over $4,000! Mercy Gets Outpouring of Support from WNY

After Covid-19 hit, it didn’t take long for the world to recognize that hospital workers were on the front line in this battle. Since March, hundreds of community organizations and residents stepped up to support and show their gratitude to our brave healthcare heroes.

Mercy Hospital Foundation in collaboration with the Foundations for Catholic Health coordinated the donation efforts at Mercy Hospital. Several restaurants, schools, dance studios, businesses, and community members donated over 5,000 meals, energy drinks, greeting cards, fitness classes, and so much more to staff which helped to lift spirits and keep them moving forward.

We thank all who supported our health care heroes, especially; WNY Feeds the Frontlines, Pho54, Imperial Pizza, Zoladz, and Wegmans who donated hundreds of meals to staff throughout the pandemic.
