Medical School: Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine
Undergraduate College: Xavier Unversity
Hometown: Wadsworth, OH
Personal Info: I am a big fan of Cleveland sports, Ohio State football and Xavier basketball. I also enjoy jogging, playing basketball and tennis, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Why this Program? It's a grossly overused term, but this program truly provides its residents with a very well rounded podiatric education. With the private office experience, daily group rounds, weekly didactic sessions, monthly journal club, excellent outside rotations and robust surgical exposure, this is a program that produces podiatrists who are more than prepared to practice successfully.

Medical School: Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Class of 2013
Undergraduate College: Wayne State University
Hometown: West Bloomfield, Michigan
Podiatric Specialty: Sports Medicine, Surgery
Personal Info: Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, I am the oldest of 3 children and the first to become a physician in my family. I gravitated towards podiatry after many sprained ankles playing soccer growing up. I am a big Detroit sports fan and in my free time, I enjoy watching/playing sports, working out, movies, ping pong, and heading home to see family and friends.
Why this program? This program seemed to be a perfect fit. Sisters of Charity Hospital provides its residents the resources to become well-rounded clinicians and surgeons. With a resident-run clinic and broad surgical experience, I believe this program will prepare me for the real world. The attending physicians are always ready and willing to teach, giving me a unique insight to their trained eye. In addition, journal clubs and weekly medicine lectures allow the residents to expand their knowledge in all fields of medicine.
