Podiatric Specialty: Sports Medicine, Surgery, Wound Care
Personal Info: I was born in one the surrounding villages of Yaounde, in Cameroon, Central-West Africa. My two favorite places are Cameroon and Fort-Kent, Maine.
Podiatry is an interesting part of medicine. It encompasses conservative care and surgery, the best of both worlds, and it will allow me give back to the community.
Why this program? All residents are treated equal in this program. There is always somebody willing to teach. It is a well-rounded program. The faculty has a broad medical and surgical knowledge. The program also has a weekly resident run-clinic, cadaver labs, journal club, weekly didactic lecture with other residents, and daily teaching rounds. At Sisters of Charity Hospital, a lot is done to provide to the residents with a favorable environment to learn. And Buffalo is a friendly place.
