Background
Dr. Stephen Watkins was born and raised in Western New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Buffalo State College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Watkins went on to complete is orthopedic surgery residency training at various hospitals affiliated with LECOM Health, also in Erie, Pennsylvania. Following his residency, Dr. Watkins completed his Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship training at Orthopedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.

As a fellowship trained shoulder and knee specialist, I work with my patients to help restore their quality of life and get them moving again. My practice is dedicated to building meaningful relationships based on communication and trust. Together we develop the most appropriate treatment plan focused on improving pain, function, and mobility.
