Board-certified surgeon and WNY native Dr. Keith Zuccala specializes in bariatric, general, and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Zuccala received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University at Buffalo and participated in a research program at Roswell Park. After completing his general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Zuccala was awarded an endoscopic surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Zuccala offers treatments including weight loss surgery such as gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and revisions and also for complex general surgery issues, hernias, gastroesophageal reflux, obesity, gallbladder issues, bowel issues, liver, spleen, and pancreatic diseases, and stomach and bowel diseases. He has numerous publications in medical journals and textbooks and has given presentations at conferences across the country. A strong supporter of education, Dr. Zuccala has served on various hospital committees and as the Laparoendoscopic Fellowship Director and Attending Surgeon for general surgery residents at Danbury Hospital. A loving and devoted family man, Dr. Zuccala’s proudest accomplishments include being a husband, father, son, and brother and being a Buffalo sports fan- particularly football and hockey.
