Director’s Letter

Dear Colleagues:

As you begin the process of Residency selection, we would like to recommend Sisters Hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Sisters Hospital is affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. We are one of nine consortium hospitals in the Buffalo system.

In addition to the CPME approved Podiatric Residency, Sisters offers an AOA Family Practice Residency Program and allopathic residencies in OB/GYN and Internal Medicine.

Sisters is committed to teaching residents, interns and students. The attending display a high professionalism and enthusiasm with regard to teaching. This should be a prime factor in your Residency selection. There are daily teaching rounds and conferences, in addition to regular Thursday afternoon lecture and education programs.

We think a visit to Sisters or a clinical student rotation at Sisters will favorably impress you with our program. If we can answer any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Joseph M. Anain, Jr., DPM
Director of Podiatric Medical Education
