Pregnant? We Can Help You Quit Smoking.

As part of the Baby and Me Tobacco Free program, you will receive four prenatal counseling sessions to help you to quit smoking. After the birth of your baby, carbon monoxide monitoring will be performed monthly. If you are smoke-free, you will receive a  $25 voucher for diapers. Learn more about this program.

Payment & Insurance

The Catholic Health primary care centers accept most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare.

Healthcare assistance on a sliding fee scale is available for those who are under-insured or uninsured.

Don't Have Insurance?

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for Medicaid, Family Health Plus or Child Health Plus.

  • Medicaid: Our Medicaid advocates will assist you in submitting your application. When you come in for your first appointment, our advocate will walk you through the application process, from beginning to end. Once the application is complete, the advocate will deliver the application in downtown Buffalo for you.
  • Fidelis: Fidelis representatives can help you apply for Fidelis in the waiting room on designated days. If Fidelis representatives are not available on the day of your visit, we can refer you to a representative to arrange for a visit. Please call our office for more information.

We can assist you in applying for food stamps (WIC), pharmaceuticals (EPIC), help with your heating bills (HEAP) and health insurance.

Prescription Refills

Prescriptions will be refilled only during office hours because we need your chart handy to check on dosages and disease status. Plan ahead so that you do not run out of important medicines.

Always have the phone number of your pharmacy available when you call the office.

To expedite your request, you can also ask your pharmacy to send us an e-request for a prescription refill.

Emergencies

Call 911 (Emergency Medical Services) for any life threatening emergency that requires immediate medical care (inability to breathe, severely choking, unconsciousness, seizure, etc.). For poisonings, call the Poison Control Center (716) 878-7654 or 1-800-222-1222.

After-Hours Calls

If you become ill or are injured after office hours or during a weekend or a holiday, your call to the office will go through our answering service. Please limit calls to emergencies or other urgent problems that cannot wait until morning.
