On April 1, 2009, St. Joseph Hospital officially closed and merged with Sisters of Charity Hospital, becoming Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus.

Specialty Services

• Emergency Care: The emergency room at St. Joseph Campus is staffed by a team of certified emergency physicians, physician assistants and nurses whose services are available 24-hours-a-day. The emergency department, constructed in 2005, features 18 specially-designed private treatment rooms with computer access for bedside registration, as well as a comfortable two-story lobby and an open nurses’ station design that allows for greater family access.
• Sleep Disorders: The SleepCare Center of Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus diagnoses and treats sleep disorders. As an accredited center by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, our Sleep Center meets the national standards for quality and excellence.
• Palliative Care: Palliative care focuses on providing relief from the pain, stress and other debilitating symptoms of terminal illnesses. The Palliative Care Consultation Service at St. Joseph Campus has cared for more than 1,500 patients.
• Care for Non-Healing Wounds: Our Advanced Wound Healing Center treats non-healing wounds such as bed sores, diabetic foot and lower extremity ulcers, and more. The Center is equipped with a hyperbaric chamber that creates an enriched oxygen environment and promotes the growth of new tissue.
