Between mom's admission and discharge, we experienced care, competence and compassion.

How do we acknowledge the cadre of caregivers at McAuley who each played a role in my mother’s rehabilitation?

I wish I had the names of all the wonderful aides and cooks, nurses and doctors, therapists and clergy. But you know who you are. And if you think your individual efforts went unnoticed, you’re wrong.

When mom left McAuley residence for home, she shared hugs of gratitude with several McAuley staffers. So did I.

May such a tragedy never strike again. But if it ever does, may we be fortunate enough to receive the care and kindness we received from McAuley.

– Paul Chimera
