Performance Enhancement

No matter what your age or sport, AthletiCare's Performance Enhancement program can help to improve your game and reduce the risk of injuries.

We'll work with you to improve your:

  • agility
  • speed
  • strength
  • power
  • endurance
  • flexibility
  • core stability, and
  • balance.

Through the Performance Enhancement program, you'll also reduce the of risk of injuries.

Program Options

As part of our program, you may participate in:

  • Sports camps (individual, group or team sessions that evaluate your performance and focus on your goals)
  • ACL reduction programs to reduce your risk of knee injury
  • Specialized running programs to improve your speed and running form; you will run on a treadmill as we evaluate how your foot strikes, how you push off from the ground and other techniques. We will also ensure that you wear the proper sneakers to provide the best support.    

Who Will Benefit

Our participants train for softball, golf, volleyball, basketball, hockey, and other sports. They may play as part of a sports team or recreationally.

This program also benefits runners, who may want to reduce their time in a marathon or ensure that they use the proper technique to prevent injury.

We tailor our programs for each individual or group based on sport, position and personal performance goals.

Length of Program

To see improvements, you must practice proper techniques over a period of time. Our program is generally four weeks long, with sessions that occur twice per week. We will tailor the program to accomodate your needs.

Please note that this program is not covered by insurance. Costs are out-of-pocket.

Training Facilities

One-on-one sessions typically occur during business hours at one of our AthletiCare facilities:

Group sessions take place at an alternate location, such as at a team's practice field. We will work with you to find a suitable location.

Getting Started

The program begins with an initial screening that assists in identifying weakness and areas for improvement. We then target individual areas for improvement to help you reach your athletic goals.
