What is Medical Adult Day Care?

Medical adult day care provides a place where someone requiring supervision can spend the day and have the opportunity to socialize and receive medical care.

The goal is to help each participant achieve and maintain the highest level of personal independence possible.

All transportation must be provided by the participant.

Services

Catholic Health's medical adult day care program provides the following services, based on individual needs:

physical, occupational and speech therapy
nursing care and audiology services
nutritional counseling
social services/case management
daily activities
pastoral/spiritual care services

Treatment Facility

Medical adult day care is offered at St. Francis of Buffalo (34 Benwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY).
