Athletic trainers are often confused with personal trainers. However, they perform different roles and have different levels of training.

Athletic trainers prevent, assess and treat injuries, whereas personal trainers assess fitness needs and design appropriate exercise regimens.

Our certified athletic trainers have formal instruction in:

  • first aid and emergency care
  • assessment of injury/illness
  • human anatomy and physiology
  • therapeutic modalities
  • nutrition
