Status post-reconstructive microsurgery for nerve repair, tendon repair (flexor / extensor), tissue transfer for bone and soft tissue defects, arthoplasties or dupuytren's release
The program promotes functional mobility and enables patients to regain mastery of the basic and instrumental activities of daily living.
Patients are expected to be active participants in their hand therapy, which includes a home program. To further aid the recovery process, our hand therapists use custom-made dynamic, static, static progressive and functional splints.
The Hand Therapy Program is administered by certified hand therapists and physical and occupational therapists with extensive experience and training.
