Rehabilitation is a process by which a person suffering from an injury, disorder or other condition improves or restores his or her ability to function. Treatment may include exercises that address physical or mental capabilities.

Patients enrolled in an outpatient therapy program reside at home and receive therapy at one of our AthletiCare or Partners in Rehab locations. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies can assist in your rehab, wellness, and injury prevention needs.
Patients may receive therapy at home through the McAuley Seton Home Care division.
Subacute care is a short-term rehab option for patients of all ages who need a transitional care setting before returning home from the hospital. Patients reside for a short period at a designated facility where they receive nursing and therapy care to rebuild their strength and also learn how to better manage their disease or condition.
Medical rehabilitation is a specialized and higher level of rehabilitation than subacute care. Patients may be recovering from specific diagnoses such as stroke, hip fractures, multiple fractures or complications from neurological conditions like Parkinson's or Multiple Sclerosis. On average, the length of stay in a medical rehabilitation unit is 14 days.
Certified Athletic Trainers provide front-line evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries at local high schools, colleges and community events.
