I lost 40 pounds in six months.
My A1c is down, my good cholesterol is up, my bad cholesterol is down, and my Triglycerides are now within normal.
Most of the changes were because of my new meal plan and learning about portion size. The nutrition counseling and instructions helped me to change my lifestyle.
When I saw my doctor, he was almost giddy with the positive changes.

I have lost 20 pounds since January.
I saw my doctor last week, and I believe he was amazed. My A1c went from 7% down to 6.2%. My blood pressure is down to 116/72 (mmHg). I cut my bad cholesterol exactly in half. The good (cholesterol) stayed the same. So I am progressing as planned.
I want to thank the diabetes classes and Debbie Richter for her time and advice.
