Jennifer Turesky, MS, RD, CDN, CDE received her B.S./M.S in Dietetics from D’Youville College in Buffalo and has been employed by Sisters of Charity Hospital, Main Street Campus since 2004.
She is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Certified LIFESTEPS® leader.
Jennifer teaches diabetes self management education classes, LIFESTEPS® Weight Management classes and is the Outpatient Dietitian at the Piver Center for Women's Health and Wellness. Jennifer is enthusiastic about her job and is highly motivated when it comes to helping her patients reach their nutrition goals.

How to schedule an appointment for outpatient nutrition counseling at Sisters of Charity Hospital:
On your appointment day, please arrive approximately 10-15 minutes early in order to allow time for registration. Jennifer is located in the Piver Center in the Seton Professional Building on the Sisters Hospital, Main Street Campus, in Suite 100.
Remember to bring your insurance card to your appointment and your prescription if your doctor has not yet faxed it to us.
LIFESTEPS© is a 12-week program that teaches adults how to take gradual steps toward changing their eating and physical activity behaviors.
Week by week, participants learn about nutrient needs, portion sizes, the benefits of moderate physical activity and how to manage high risk eating situations.
Diabetes classes are taught in four parts. One part is taught by Jennifer and the remaining three are taught by certified diabetes educators.
