After the call is received, our highly-trained and experienced emergency response specialists can send help quickly. No matter what your emergency is, or even if you want to briefly chat with one of the operators, someone will always be there for you.

Freedom to Live Independently

For seniors, individuals with medical conditions, or anyone with physical challenges, the Home Response medical alert system lets you keep your independence.

You can live at home feeling safer and more secure. You’re free to go about your day knowing you’re always in touch with someone who can help.

No longer is this service viewed as something strictly for medical emergencies. If you feel threatened by a break-in, are ill or apprehensive about something that is occurring at home, you are encouraged to press the Help Button.

Product Options

Standard Plug-In Unit

One push of the emergency button on the console or your personal help button sends a signal to the VRI Care Center, where a trained operator will speak to you through the console. If you cannot be heard, the operator will send help immediately.

Standard Plug-In Unit features include:

  • Compatibility with digital/VoIP or standard phone lines
  • Battery back up for up to 80 hours
  • Alerts are sent to the Care Center when a low battery is detected
  • Help button works from up to 450-600 feet away, depending on geographic location
  • Operational in both the United States and Canada

Cellular Unit

This feature works in the same way as the standard plug-in unit while offering the convenience of cellular service. It is designed for those who no longer have a landline.

4G Cellular Unit features include:

  • Compatibility with AT&T’s or T-Mobile’s nationwide cellular networks
  • Battery back up for up to 24 hours
  • Alerts are sent to the Care Center when a low battery is detected
  • Fall Detection Button - available upon request – extra fee applies

Fall Detection Button

When a fall is detected, this unit automatically connects to the VRI Care Center where a specialist will talk to you through the base unit to ensure that you are safe. In an emergency, help will be sent to your location. This service provides an added level of protection when you are unable to press the button yourself after a fall.

Fall Detection Button features include:

  • Water resistant button/shower proof
  • Battery lasts two years with normal usage
  • Alerts are sent to the Care Center when a low battery is detected
  • Help button can be pressed from up to 450-600 feet from base unit, depending on geographic location

Mobile Care Service

Mobile Care service includes a discrete, wearable personal emergency response system (PERS) device that uses either AT&T or Verizon cellular coverage, ensuring that help is there when you need it. It is designed to break through the confines of traditional home-bound monitoring.

With Catholic Health Medical Alert, you can choose between the Belle 4G or Belle+ 4G. Please note, Belle Plus (+) fall detection button and the regular Belle use the Verizon network.

Both of these devices provide users access to a UL-listed emergency care center 24/7. Users are also able to speak with specialists via powerful built-in, two-way voice technology, allowing them to dispatch help in the event of an emergency.

Belle 4G features include:

  • Simple to use and includes WiFi location technology
  • Built-in, high quality speaker and microphone
  • Convenient design that is lightweight, easy to wear, and water-resistant
  • Low-maintenance and easy to charge (rechargeable battery lasts up to 30 days)
  • Keeps users and loved ones connected (users and authorized contacts can receive low batter reminders via text/e-mail, loved ones are contacted in the event of an emergency)
  • Offers peace of mind (the Belle device can dial 9-1-1 directly, even if cellular or roaming partner service is not available)

Belle+ 4G features include:

  • All the benefits and services of the standard Belle 4G device
  • Multi-sensor fall detection capabilities
  • GPS and WiFi location technologies (AT&T services is included in the Belle+ monthly monitoring fee)
  • Free Belle+ mobile applications to help loved ones stay connected and locate user

Affordable

How much would you pay for around-the-clock peace of mind? Catholic Health Home Response can protect you for slightly more than a dollar a day! For those who qualify, a reduced rate is available with our sliding fee scale (application upon request).

No Long-term Contract

There is no long-term contract. Service is on a month-to-month basis, and there are no penalties for cancelling the service.
