Freedom to Live Independently
For seniors, individuals with medical conditions, or anyone with physical challenges, the Home Response medical alert system lets you keep your independence.
You can live at home feeling safer and more secure. You’re free to go about your day knowing you’re always in touch with someone who can help.
No longer is this service viewed as something strictly for medical emergencies. If you feel threatened by a break-in, are ill or apprehensive about something that is occurring at home, you are encouraged to press the Help Button.
In the event of a power loss, battery backup provides up to 32 hours of continuous operation. The console self-tests weekly to ensure it's working properly if, or when, you need it.
Fast Response Time
The average response time is less than 45 seconds.
When you can’t be there for a loved one in need, our nearby Emergency Response Center makes sure help is on the way. Your parent or relative will feel reassured, and so will you.
Easy to Use
With Home Response, there are no complicated controls or confusing machinery. Simply push the emergency button on the console or on your personal transmitter.
A signal is sent to the Emergency Response Center, where a trained operator will speak to you through the console. If you cannot be heard, the operator will send help immediately.
Home Response is portable, so you can take it with you wherever you go.
We offer pendant or wrist style buttons, which are waterproof. The average range of button is approximately 450 ft. from the base unit.
Answer Incoming Calls
With the QuikConnect feature, you will be able to answer incoming phone calls with just a touch of your Home Response personal help button. Once the call is answered, you can carry on a normal phone conversation by speaking toward your Home Response unit.
QuikConnect can help alleviate the danger of hurrying to answer the phone and possibly incurring a fall in the process.
How to use the QuickConnect feature:
- When the phone rings, press your Home Response personal help button.
- Turn toward the monitor – even if it is in another room.
- Start the conversation and let the caller know that you are speaking to them through your unit. If you want to switch to your own phone, just pick up the receiver and press your button to disconnect from the speaker and resume conversation through your own phone.

Any number of family members can be on the service at one time. For example, if there are two persons in the home who would like to use Catholic Health Home Response, we can install one base unit in the home and provide the subscribers with a button they wear on their wrist or around their neck. The second subscriber can be added at no extra cost.
No Long-term Contract
There is no long-term contract. Service is on a month-to-month basis, and there are no penalties for cancelling the service.
