Free diabetes screenings are offered throughout Western New York. Visit our screenings calendar to view upcoming diabetes screenings.
Daily activities affect blood sugar control. You decide what to eat, whether or not to exercise and when to take medication. Because the part you play is so important, you need to keep yourself informed with up-to-date information.
Anyone who meets the following criteria should attend class:
Classes will be taught by registered nurses and registered dietitians who are certified diabetes educators.
Every program consists of a series of four classes. You have the option to choose a series offered in the morning, afternoon or evening.
Class dates are listed in the calendar below.
Program charges are covered by most insurances. You should check with your insurance company prior to scheduling classes. A family member or friend may attend with you at no additional cost.

The Catholic Health Lifeskills Diabetes Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education.
Gestational diabetes is a temporary form of diabetes in which a pregnant woman's blood sugar, or glucose levels, becomes elevated.
Our gestational diabetes classes teach you how to monitor your glucose levels and plan nutritious meals.
