All classes are free unless otherwise noted. Program DescriptionsCPR (Fee Applies) Attendees learn single rescuer CPR techniques and management of airway obstruction for adults, infants and children. Do you know the risk factors for Sudden Cardiac Arrest? In this class, Cardiac Rhythm Specialist (Electrophysiologist), Dr. Irfan Khan, will discuss the risk factors and what current treatments are available. The Skinny on Cholesterol This presentation will define blood lipids-total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides, as well as normal levels and the risk of heart attack, stroke and PAD that elevated levels bring. We will discuss treatment in terms of medication, diet and lifestyle change. Free cholesterol screening will be provided following the lecture.
