Background
Andrew O’Hara, D.O. completed an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
The Western New York native earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also completed his four-year orthopedic surgical residency. He completed his medical internship at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, Pa.
Dr. O’Hara graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Anthropology, and completed additional anthropology education at Buffalo State College.
While Dr. O’Hara treats a variety of orthopedic injuries, he has a special interest in sports-related injuries, such as anterior cruciate ligament tears, meniscal repair, rotator cuff repair and shoulder instability. He also provides coverage for football and lacrosse teams.
He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Association.
He is a married father of three children and enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and is an avid sports fan.
