Vascular Surgery

Unlike traditional open surgery, in which the physician makes a long incision to access the anatomy, minimally invasive surgery uses small incisions, resulting in faster recovery and less pain for the patient.

Vascular Surgeries

  • Angioplasty to expand and dilate a narrowed or blocked blood vessel (endovascular surgery)
  • Endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair to treat abdominal aortic aneurysm, a condition in which a part of the aorta weakens and bulges
  • Lower extremity angioplasty to improve the blood supply to the legs
  • Stenting to open blocked arteries and help prevent them from re-closing (endovascular surgery)
  • Treatment of varicose veins (laser surgery)
