Students Tour Mercy Flight Center

On October 26, 2010, twelve students from Mt. Mercy Academy and eleven students from Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School gathered for a field trip to Mercy Flight Center, which airlifts critical patients from their locations to hospitals in WNY.

While touring hte facility, the students met Mercy Flight Center staff, including a pilot, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), trainers, helicopter mechanics, communicators, and more. They also visited the helicopters in the hanger.

The experience ended with lunch in the picnic area overlooking the airport runway.
