Conveniently located on the Sisters of Charity Hospital campus on Main Street in Buffalo, St. Catherine Labouré Health Care Center is easily accessible by private or public transportation, Residents and patients do not live at our facility, we work in their home. Our staff takes great pride in providing a homelike atmosphere for residents and patients, and ensuring that each is cared for with the utmost dignity and respect. Spirituality of all denominations is woven into the fabric of services provided. Our chaplain is expert in servicing the spiritual needs of residents and patients. Mass is celebrated three times per week, and daily communion is available.

Quality care means achieving the best possible outcomes for our patients and residents. This is accomplished through our team of interdisciplinary professionals who have special training in caring for seniors and those with short-term rehabilitation needs. This team includes physicians, nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, nutritionists, social workers, case managers, chaplain, activity directors, and patient and staff educators.

Specialized Services & Amenities:

  • All exit doors are equipped with an alert system.
  • Kitchen, laundry, and bathroom facilities for hands-on simulation designed to help patients acquire and maintain skills for a seamless transition to home.
  • Extensive activity calendar geared to every level of cognition and dexterity.
  • A quiet second story garden area for visiting and picnics.
  • Specialty diets accommodated.
  • Hospice, palliative care services, and family support group meetings.
  • Phone, television service and parking available.
  • Van transportation to local shopping areas, restaurants, and entertainment venues such as casino trips.
  • Monthly newsletter provides residents and patients with a source of interesting news and topics of interest.
