The newest in rehab programs is available for stroke patients at Partners In Rehab - West Seneca. Constraint Therapy is a specialized exercise program design for adults who have had a previous stroke and continue to have weakness in one arm. Several research studies have shown that patients who complete this program are able to achieve a significant improvement in function of their arm. A physician referral is required before an evaluation by a Physical and Occupational Therapist can take place and assess if you are an appropriate candidate for this therapy. Treatment is covered by most health insurances.
