St. Francis Foundation, Inc.

St. Francis Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1984 to provide support to St. Francis Hospital. In 1992, St. Francis became St. Francis Geriatric and Healthcare Services, a nursing home, and the foundation continued, changing its mission to focus on the new facility. St. Francis Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for the nursing home residents and adult day health care registrants at St. Francis of Buffalo. With over 20 trustees and 18 advisory board members, the foundation sponsors several fundraising programs during the year such as the Annual Golf Tournament in June, auction and dinner in the fall, holiday memorial tree campaign in December, and the solicitation of grants and major gifts.
